James Herzog began his service to
the Florida Catholic Conference as Accreditation Program
Manager in August 2005 and became the Associate Director
for Education in February 2009. James serves
as a professional resource person for the Conference in education matters; coordinates,
monitors and advocates issues relating to governmental
programs affecting Florida Catholic schools, their
administrators, faculty and pupils; represents Catholic
education at the state level in Florida and in
coordination with United States Conference of Catholic
Bishops (USCCB) at the federal level; represents the FCC
with Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS);
maintains liaison with various school-choice
organizations and special needs groups; serves as a
liaison between the Florida Department of Education and
Florida Catholic schools in areas of teacher
certification; the Catholic School Master In-Service
Program; and oversees the Florida
Catholic Conference Accreditation Program (FCCAP). |
