Michael
Sheedy joined the Conference staff in January 2002. He serves as a
professional resource person advocating on behalf of the
Church and Catholic health ministry in legislative and
regulatory matters, with a focus on access to care, acute care, long
term care, end of life and biomedical issues.
He is responsible for direct liaison with and communication
among Catholic health organizations of
Florida, as well as state health associations to which
they belong. He serves as liaison to State agencies
concerned with health care and monitors implementation
of health regulation at the state and federal levels. |
