Mission
The Florida Catholic AIDS Network coordinates
HIV/AIDS education and pastoral care for the Catholic Church in
Florida through its compassionate outreach to all persons
affected by the HIV pandemic.
Objectives
Education
-
To
raise awareness of how the HIV pandemic affects the entire
population.

To
provide educational programs.

To
provide resource personnel to assist Florida dioceses in
HIV/AIDS education implementation.
-
To
provide awareness to the public of the Catholic Church's
response to the HIV pandemic.
Pastoral Care
-
To
support and assist in the development of spiritual ministries.
-
To
promote a spiritual response with compassion and care to persons
affected by HIV.
-
To
provide spiritual support for the PLWA (persons living with
AIDS).
-
To
provide spiritual support for the caregiver
